General Hotel Policies

 

Check-In and Check-Out Time

Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is before 11:00 am. Early check in and late check out fees may apply.

Occupancy and Local Tax

Transient Occupancy Tax of 10.50 % and a TBID Tax of 2.00% is charged on the room rate only. Sales tax of 7.75%  will be added to purchased items such as chocolates, flowers or wine.

Guarantee Policy

Guarantee Policy: All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Deposit Required – one (1) night’s room and tax.

Cancellation Policy / Modification Policy

Cancellations, or modifications resulting in the reduction of the number of nights, within 72 hours of arrival will result in a charge equal to one (1) night’s room and tax.

No Shows

If you do not cancel your reservation and do not show up, your credit card will be charged one (1) night’s room and tax. No show reservations consisting of multiple nights will be released 24 hours after the arrival date.

Guest Identification Required

Guests will be required to present a valid identification at check-in that matches the guest name on the reservation and credit card provided at check-in. If you are using a company or other party’s credit card, an authorization form is required and must be on file at time of check-in.

Occupancy Policy

Each room can accommodate up to two people with the exception of our suite in which the maximum is four.

Dinning

Cormorant Boutique Hotel offers a full service rooftop restaurant and bar from 10 AM to 10 PM. Birdseye’s fresh, hip ambience features art deco touches and sleek, modern lines. With a gorgeous palm tree-lined view of the Pacific Ocean, guests are able to enjoy the picturesque vista while choosing items from an exquisite food and beverage menu meticulously curated by renowned Executive Chef Luciano Scagliarini.

Smoke-Free

We are 100% smoke-free property. Please do not smoke in any of the guest rooms, on the patios or within 20 feet of the building. If smoking occurs, there will be a $250 dollar cleaning fee per night charged to your credit card.

Candles

Open flamed candles are not allowed. Please do not light a candle in your guest room. If lit, you will be liable for the entire amount of damage. Safe flame-free candles are available at the front desk should you wish to have candles lit ambiance in your room.

Cash Policy

Cash Payments are accepted at check-out; however a credit card is required to hold the full amount of the stay plus a daily incidental hold of $50.00 at time of check-in.

Accessibility

Two wheelchair accessible guest rooms are available. If needed, please ensure it is requested at the time of reservation.

Service Dogs

When booking your reservation please inform the front desk agent that a service dog will be accompanying you. Service animals are allowed in all guest areas. A service animal may only be classified as a dog which was trained to perform a task for a person with a disability. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Housekeeping

Our housekeeping staff will enter daily for stayover guests (more than one night) to freshen bathrooms, empty trash cans and make the bed. If the “Do Not Disturb” sign is on the door, the housekeeping staff will not enter the room. If any additional amenities are needed, please contact the front desk.

Parking

Off site parking is offered but not guaranteed as well as overnight valet parking for an additional $25. Hotel guests can use the loading zone in front of the hotel to unload/load during check-in and check-out.
