May is a great time for a beach day with your loved ones, as the crowds haven’t arrived yet, and the weather stays comfortably at around 70°F. Be dazzled by the performances at San Diego International Fringe Festival 

All theater and performance lovers should check out the 11th annual San Diego International Fringe Festival this Memorial Day weekend. As the largest performing arts event in San Diego, it will feature over 500 live productions from local, national, and international artists, running from May 18-28.

This West Coast famous festival is unique because participating artists have the freedom to showcase their works without censorship. So expect to see and experience anything and everything! Shows are between 45 and 60 minutes, so you could even see multiple performances in a day if you have time. Most show tickets are $10, but some performances are free to see. Eat, drink and dance the weekend away at North Park Music Fest

North Park Music Fest is an annual 2-day kid-friendly music, art, and food festival taking place in the heart of San Diego’s most eclectic and diverse neighborhood of North Park. From live bands to local food and craft beers, this is a party you won’t want to miss in San Diego this May! Spanning over multiple stages, you can experience local bands, a full spectrum of crisp lagers and hoppy ales made by their favorite local brewers, and more than 15 local food vendors on site, providing the most delicious flavors from the furthest corners of the globe all in one place!
